Social security budget definitively adopted by Parliament

The censorship motion deposited by the Nuts was rejected by the National Assembly after a seventh use by Elisabeth Borne of 49.3.

In a play of role now well -offed, the National Assembly rejected a new motion of censorship from the government on Friday 2 December, leading to the final adoption by the Parliament of the Social Security Budget For 2023.

The motion only collected 87 votes, far from the absolute majority of the 288 necessary to bring down the government. This debate followed the trigger of the constitutional weapon of 49.3 by Élisabeth Borne on Wednesday, for the seventh time on a budgetary text this fall, in order to pass this bill without vote.
