After the start of a special military operation in Russia, about 140 leaks were recorded, due to which 600 million records of Russians got on the Internet. This was reported by the press service of Roskomnadzor, writes TASS.
In Roskomnadzor, it was added that the number of leaks increased sharply after blocking a number of foreign social networks that worked in Russia in violation of the law.
representatives of the department clarified that various personal data and information on social relations of Russian citizens were published. Among other things, publicly personal data were in public access, which are subject to special protection.
“, in addition to returning to conducting inspections on the facts of leaks, it is necessary to increase financial liability for insufficient protection by organizations of data and criminalization of theft, illegal resale and processing of stolen personal personal data. Currently, the corresponding necessary legislative changes have been prepared, ”the department adds.
