The Ping utility supplied to OpenBSD is not subject to the problem identified in FreeBSD (vulnerability is present in the new implementation of the PR_PACK () function, rewritten by FreeBSD developers in 2019), but during the audit there was another error that remained unnoticed for 24 years. The error leads to endless baking when processing a response with zero size of the Option field in an IP package. Correction is already included
