Elisabeth bounds one ninth time at 49.3, La France rebellious deposits new censorship motion

The Prime Minister justified to have the “expenses” part of the budget, stressing that the State must have a budget before January 1.

Elisabeth Borne sparked for the ninth time, Sunday, December 11, article 49.3 of the Constitution to have the “expenses” part adopted without vote and the entire draft state budget for 2023 in new reading Before the National Assembly. Insoumise France deputies (LFI) replied by the filing of a new censorship motion.

This is “a budget we need in time, at 1 er January 2023″, justified the executive head. “Government’s authoritarianism has no limit to impose [its] social and ecological mistreatment policy. We deposit a new motion to censor this government,” replied in the process on Twitter Mathilde Panot, patron of the LFI group.

Earlier on Sunday, the “recipes” part of the 2023 budget draft was adopted de facto in the assembly in new reading, after the failure of a motion of censorship of “rebellious”. Unsurprisingly, given the refusal of the right to vote for this motion, but also because of the absence of many deputies who left in their constituency this weekend, this initiative only obtained 78 votes, far from the 289 necessary for drop the government.
