This is the story of an ambitious duo that sets up on the assault of a mountain. At the end, the duo falls high and falls their mountain to tremble. Malik Nait-Liman and Tayeb Benabderrahmane, an ex-anti-terrorist policeman and a businessman converted into lobbying, are, in the words of the first, as “brothers”: both from Algerian immigration, having grown up in Parisian suburb, resourceful and ambitious.

Their mountain is Paris-Saint-Germain (PSG), the football club bought in 2011 by the Emir of Qatar via the Qatar Sports Investments (QSI). The money and the influence of the emirate, which ostensibly flirts with the Arab-Muslim community of France, attract the two men like fireflies around a bulb in the night.

MO12345lemonde was able to reconstruct their ascent and their fall through the reading of the 57 pages of the summary report – already cited by Mediapart, Liberation and L’Equipe – written by the police of the General Directorate of Internal Security (DGSI) and the General Inspectorate of the National Police (IGPN) dated September 29 as part of a preliminary investigation into several criminal facts for which the tandem was indicted in September: “Compromise of the Secret of the National Defense , violation of professional secrecy, damage to privacy intimacy, theft, embezzlement of the processing of personal data, influence traffic, assistance in the entry and irregular stay of a stranger In France committed in an organized gang “.

It all starts in early 2015. Malik Nait-Liman and Tayeb Benabderrahmane meet through Sihem Souid, a former policewoman out of ban since the publication of her book, Omerta in the police (Le Cherche Midid, 2010 ), which has become communicating. She takes under her Tayeb Benabderrahmane wing which she sees as a gifted from the interview. As for Malik Nait -Liman, his troubles spent with the police hierarchy – he was withdrawn from his secret -defense authorization and he received a blame – can only attract his sympathy.

“Coup of lightning “friendly

The meeting between Tayeb and Malik, as Malik tells it to the DGSI investigators, looks like a friendly “love at first sight. The two men affectionately call each other “uncle”. The policeman is impressed by the “relational”, the ability to radiate, the bagout of the businessman. Tayeb quickly perceives the interest of bonding with this well -connected policeman, always ready to be of service and not too look at the procedure.
