The American president, Joe Biden, warned against the climate crisis which threatens “the very life of the planet”, Friday, November 11, at the annual UN summit on the climate, the COP27, which is held in Charm el-Cheikh, in Egypt. Joe Biden also assured that the United States would meet its objectives for reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 2030. The American manager also asked that “all countries” undertake to “renew and raise “their climatic ambitions during COP27.
The American president also alluded to the war in Ukraine during his speech. “The war waged by Russia only strengthens the urgency for the world to get out of its dependence on fossil fuels,” he told the gallery.
