LFI reorganizes and wants to set up locally

A school of executives, premises … if he refutes any institutionalization, the movement of Jean-Luc Mélenchon tries to “strengthen”. Without deciding for the moment the question of people.

Above all, do not speak of congresses or institutionalization. Insoumise France (LFI) will never be a party, it will not have members, swear its executives. But she settles, she is anchored. And reflect on its internal organization. Like its left -wing partners who meet in congresses this winter (December 10 for EELV, in January for the PS, in April for the PCF). Thursday, November 10, from the Parisian headquarters of the movement, several LFI parliamentarians (Jean-Luc Mélenchon was not) presented a roadmap for “a popular majority” and “strengthen” LFI.

On the program first, a territorial anchoring. The movement, for the moment poor in town halls, plans to buy premises, starting to set up in the departments where the victory narrowly escaped the “rebellious” candidates, during the previous polls. No “federation” for this non-party, but “departmental loops” appear, endowed with cash and even a equalization fund between the departments. No subscription, but an annual voluntary contribution by which any person can commit to paying the amount of their choice over a year, choosing whether they want to enclose it towards this or that action group (the local level of activists ).

A “school of executives”, also, taken care of by the La Boétie Institute that Jean-Luc Mélenchon intends to oversee, with a course of about a year, said MP LFI Clémence watched. The objective, for “rebellious”, is also to get closer to the social movement.

“spectacular actions”

At a time when environmentalists procrastinate on the report to the punching actions of young activists in the defense of the climate, France Insoumise intends to accompany them. “Our objective is to create a new network of resistance of environmental struggles. By assuming the methods of the young ecological generations,” said European deputy Manon Aubry, evoking the axis “acts proper” of this new organization. “The climatic emergency justifies spectacular, symbolic actions of which we assume the need.”

If LFI partners are sometimes surprised to see the logo of the new Ecological and Social People’s Popular Union (Nuts) on all the local events of “reorganization”, this reorganization intends to develop the district assemblies mixing the activists of the various left the left alliance. The Parliament of the Nutples, it, remained sleeping, will be renamed “Agora”, a name which undoubtedly corresponds better to its role as a discussion room.
