More than a month after the start of the uprising in Iran, the repression reaches day after day, more ferocious levels. Monday, October 17, the death of Asra Panahi, a 16 -year -old high school student who died under the coups in the police in her school, was confirmed by the Coordination Council for Iranian Sleeze Associations of Ardabil, a City located not far from the Caspian Sea, in the northwest of the country. In the same place, another high school student is now immersed in coma.

The facts took place in the Shahed high school on October 12, according to the Telegram channel of the Council. Some employees of the establishment forced the high school girls to go to a pro -regime demonstration, without authorization from parents. Among the adolescent girls, some, very indignant, then started to chant slogans against sexist discrimination in the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The Iranian daily reformer Hammihan explains that some of these young girls have removed their veil to protest against his compulsory port. The police in civilian clothes intervened, insulting and striking the high school girls, pursuing them to the interior of their establishment, causing a panic movement among the students. “One of them, Asra Panahi, unfortunately died following shots received, after her transfer to a city hospital. Others have been arrested. There is no clear information on their number” , specifies the Coordination Council of Union Associations of Iranian teachers.

A video published on the same day shows the atmosphere tense in front of the Shahed establishment where some parents went to protect their children. “Death to the dictator,” shouted the high school girls. The mayor and the deputy of Ardabil denied everything as a whole, saying that Asra Panahi had committed suicide, while at the same time the government media published two videos of the uncle of the girl explaining that she was dead from a heart problem. The semi-official agency Fars, close to the guards of the revolution, the ideological army of the country involved in the repression, advances for its part the thesis of “a stroke”.

“even in primary schools “

The death of Asra Panahi under the blows of the police is a first in Iran since September 16. That day, Mahsa Amini, 22, succumbed at the end of her police custody for a “poorly worn” veil. Since then, Iran has been shaken by an unprecedented uprising. According to the organization Human Rights Activists News Agency, at least 240 people were killed in the wave of repression that followed.
