With or without sun, in a t-shirt or under a plaid … Five establishments in Paris and its crown with breathtaking views for a glass or a meal at altitude, with attitude.

By, and

from Ménilmontant to the banks of the Seine, from the great boulevards to Montmartre, but also in the Val-de-Marne, a selection of terraces which allow you to gain height for a lunch, an aperitif or a dinner, even When the temperatures sting from the nose.

Summum Rooftop, the original

The place is unusual. The restaurant of the Summum Rooftop and its terraces occupy more than 1,000 square meters at the top of the immense space in Grand Paris, in Créteil, a center of congresses and exhibitions which also hosts a crèche, a play area, a room Multisport. At the end of line 8 of the metro, very close to the training center of the French handball team, this new place opened in May is simply the only roof terrace in Val-de-Marne. In the room surrounded by bay windows, where a superb pizza oven covered with copper, the decor is sober and chic, ideal for sipping one of the original homemade cocktails. A short and seasonal map offers tapas to share, classic but neat dishes, traditional wood fire and attractive desserts, all at all Parisians (from 12 to 18 euros per pizza, 6 , 50 to 7.50 euros for dessert). And on Sundays, you can enjoy a hearty brunch. Different spaces can be privatized, such as the Beer Garden and its beer wall to which, equipped with a magnetic card, we use discretion. In fine weather, we will benefit even more from the 360 ° view, which carries miles, while eating, “chaillant”, dancing or – a land will be set up for spring – playing pétanque.

The Menilmontant perch, the tropical

Curtains of green plants, Caliente songs … There is near the large bar of the Ménilmontant perchir a tropical forest atmosphere. But the breathtaking view of the roofs of Paris, with the Sacré-Coeur in the background which shines like a big candle, recalls that we are well on the seventh floor of an industrial building in the east of the capital. This roof terrace, capable of welcoming up to 300 people, has been happy with the weddings since 2013: the soft sofas and the high stools are taken by storm by couples and bands of friends of all ages from 6 pm ( making reservations is recommended). The service may be relaxed and the prices of cocktails in the low average in Paris (around 13 euros), the mixtures are singular and refined. The classics (like Moscow Mule and Daïquiri) are made with homemade alcohols. But especially we recommend creations, such as this boiling Frida Kalor, a molten cocktail that combines Mezcal, chili syrup and Espelette pepper. What to warm in winter.
