The United States is closely monitoring reports of possible cooperation between Russia and Iran in cyberspace, according to a briefing by John Kirby, the coordinator on strategic communications in the National Security Council of the White House.
Kirby expressed concern over the reports of such a partnership and added that the data is currently being studied to determine the specifics of the issue.
The White House representative also acknowledged the growing collaboration between Russia and Iran, particularly in the Middle East region. “The United States will take all necessary precautions to safeguard our national interests,” Kirby said.
