Linuxoids were able to activate the new Windows XP installations without Internet connection and without Microsoft. To do this, they used an open key generator and a executable file that issues confirmation codes.
Windows XP – the operating system that was published in 2001 and was the most popular in the world until 2011. In 2014, Microsoft stopped supporting this system and advised users to switch to newer versions. However, according to the company, at the moment, 29% of users around the world continue to use Windows XP.
Windows XP activation required an Internet or a phone call to the Microsoft support service. But now these methods do not work or are difficult. Therefore, some users resorted to illegal methods such as cracks or unofficial patches.
But now there is a legal way to activate Windows XP without the Internet and without Microsoft. On tinypps.org posted post was told how to do this using Linux. To do this, you need to use two programs: an open key generator and an executable file that issues confirmation codes.
Keys generator was created back in 2019 and allowed to receive “endless Windows XP keys”. But to complete the activation, it was required to connect to external services that could be unavailable or unreliable. The executable file was published last year and made it possible to generate offline confirmation codes. This month, the key generator was adapted to work on Linux.
The author of the post on Tinypps.org also warns that it does not recommend using Windows XP in 2023, especially if the system is connected to the Internet. He advises to launch it only in cases of emergency, for example, if there are equipment or programs that work only on this system. In this case, he recommends using the Seamonkey browser or Opera and Avast Antivirus.
