Memtest86+ 6.20: New Memory Testing System

New Version of Memtest86+ Released for Testing RAM

Memtest86+ 6.20, a program used for testing RAM, is freely available for use. This program is not restricted to any specific operating system and can be launched directly from the BIOS/UEFI firmware or from the bootloader to check for any faults in the RAM.

If any problems are detected, built-in Memtest86+ Memory of Memory Solves can be used in the Linux nucleus to isolate and exclude the problematic areas with the help of MemMap options.

The project code is licensed by gplv2 and the source code can be accessed on GitHub.
