Google Enhances Targeted Line in Chrome

Google presented a series of improvements in the address bar:

  • During the Auto-Fill of the URL, any keyword previously used to search for the site, and not just words coinciding with the start of the address, will be taken into account. For example, auto-filling of the address “https://www.google.com/travel/flights” will work not only when entering the word “google”, but also when entering “Flights”.
  • Implementation of typos when entering the site address and the output of relevant tips is provided, the formation of which takes into account sites previously opened by the current user. For example, when entering “Youutube” will be proposed to open YouTube.com. Changing the inclusion of Chrome users starting from today.
  • Provides the opportunity to search in sections of bookmarks through the target line. For example, you can add when entering the section of the slabs and Chrome will offer links from this section corresponding to the introduced key word. For example, when entering a “trip 2023 NOVA”, links from the section “TRAIDS 2023” related to the new Vasyuki and New Urengoy will be proposed.
  • Implementation of the recommendations of popular sites was implemented, even if the user has not previously visited them or made an error when entering the URL. For example, when following someone’s recommendations to open Google Earth, the user began to dial “Googleear” without knowing the exact address, the browser will offer to go to the site Earth.google.com. Changing the inclusion of Chrome users starting from today.
  • In Chrome for desktop systems, the readability of information in the address bar has been improved and the responsiveness of the interface is increased – the results are now displayed immediately after the start of the set.
