Shattered Pixel Dungeon 2.0, a step-by-step computer game in the rogue-like genre, is now available for download. Players can explore dynamically generated dungeon levels, collect artifacts, train their characters, and fight monsters. The game features pixel graphics in the style of classic games and is a continuation of the initial project, Pixel Dungeon.
The game uses Java and is licensed under GPLV3. It is available for Android, iOS, and tablet systems.
Version 2.0 introduces a new character, the duelist, who has unique strengths and weaknesses. Unlike previous characters such as the warrior, magician, robber, and monitor woman, the duelist is highly efficient in close combat and can master any weapon. Depending on their experience, players can choose between two subclasses and use 26 talents to strengthen their characters, as well as access 3 separate abilities that provide special strength in the final battle.
The game offers 26 underground floors with unique enemies and level layouts alongside more than 100 types of rooms, 100 types of weapons and equipment, 60 types of enemies, 30 traps, and 5 main villains to defeat.
