The political message is relayed to all levels of the State: faced with the medical deserts which extend, there can be no “status quo” in the organization of the supply of care. It is still necessary to find, with health professionals, an agreement on the levers to be activated, when there is no “miracle remedy”, as was used to François Braun, the Minister of Health. At the end of a winter punctuated by arrests coming from the hospital world, it was with city medicine that the former scrap worker.

Between two days of mobilization against the pension reform, a call for strike was launched by all the unions of Liberals (Confederation of French medical unions, MG France, etc.), for Tuesday, February 14, day of the ‘Examination in the Senate of a law proposal (PPL) controversial carried by the deputy (Renaissance) of the Loiret Stéphanie Rist – and supported by the Government – aimed at introducing a “direct access” to certain paramedical professionals, without passing, to the prerequisite, by a doctor. A “red line”.

City doctors are not at their first mobilization, but it hardens, a few days before the end of negotiations between their unions and health insurance to set the framework of a new agreement. After negotiations: they buy, at this stage, around a “territorial commitment contract” which remains to be specified and a revaluation of the basic consultation at 26.50 euros (against 25 euros, today), welcomed as a “provocation”.

The “Rist Ppl” sees his declared opponents grow: the order of doctors said he was supporting – and would grow, Tuesday – the processions; a first. The College of General Medicine has also taken a stand. Ditto for SOS-Médecins. Calls to mobilize also resonate within organizations of hospital practitioners. An “unpublished” front, say its promoters, in an eruptive social context.

Anger is mounted over the weeks. Addressing his wishes to health players on January 6, Emmanuel Macron camped the firmness: “The doctor must be the gateway, but not the lock of the system”, he hammered, explaining to want ” Build a new rights and homework pact “with liberal medicine. To meet the health needs of the French, including 6 million (650,000 in long -term affection) have no attending physician, the Head of State pleaded for the establishment of “health coalitions”, “Treaty teams” or a delegation of “simplified” tasks “-in line with the bill that arrives in the Senate.
