Case of hackers, who are accused of sale of personal data of Russians in darknet, were transferred to court

A criminal offense in the criminal case related to the trade in the stolen personal data of Russians from the Federal Tax Service, the Pension Fund, the Ministry of the Interior and Banks to the Hydra Market MarketPleis, was approved by the Russian Prosecutor General.

Materials in relation to hackers who are defendants in the case were transferred to the Vsevolozhsk City Court of the Leningrad Region to consider the case on the merits. In the case are Sergey Yurtsovsky, Andrey Sadyrev, Angelica Martynenko and Dmitry Lyubich. He is charged with the organization of a criminal community, unlawful access to computer information, disclosure of information constituting tax and banking secrets.

In the indicated period, they several times illegally gained access to information, copying it from the Data of the Federal Tax Service, the FIU, the Bureau of credit stories, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and banks. Further, information illegally received about more than 6.5 thousand individuals was sold to customers.

They are accused of organizing a criminal community or participation in it (according to part 1, 2, 3 of Article 210 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), in unlawful access to computer information (according to Part 4 of Article 272 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), and in the illegal and disclosure of information , which make up tax and banking secrets (according to Part 3 of Article 183 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).

Recall in April 2022 the founder of the Hydra Market underground store arrested in Moscow. Dmitry Pavlov is accused of illegal sale of drugs on an especially large scale, he faces from 15 to 20 years in prison.

Earlier on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, the Federal Department of the German Criminal Police (Bundeskriminalamt, BKA) closed the famous underground Russian -speaking trading platform Hydra Market, seized its servers and confiscated 543 euros (about 23 million euros at the current rate).
