Firefox 152.0.3 Update Fixes Freezing Bug

An emergency corrective update has been released for Firefox version 152.0.3 to address a bug that was causing freezing at startup and excessive RAM usage in configurations with installed language packs. The issue was specific to the 152.0.2 release of Firefox and was due to a regression caused by a bug in that version.

The bug in Firefox 152.0.2 led to locale mismatches in widgets on a new tab after changing the language settings, resulting in the generation of loop localization cache on every request when a language pack was active. This caused abnormal consumption of RAM, with reports of up to 10 GB being used immediately after startup.

The corrective update, version 152.0.3, aims to fix this issue and prevent any further occurrences of freezing and excessive RAM usage. Users are encouraged to update their Firefox browser to the latest version to avoid encountering these problems.
