StartWine-Launcher 422: Launch Windows Apps on Linux

A new release of the StartWine-Launcher 422 application has been published. This application was developed to allow users to run programs and games that are compiled for the Windows platform on Linux systems. The primary aim of developing StartWine-Launcher was to streamline the process for beginners in creating Wine prefixes, which are necessary sets of Windows libraries and dependencies required for running Windows applications on Linux. The code for StartWine-Launcher is written in Python and is distributed under the GPLv3 license. The application’s interface is based on the GTK library.

Some of the main changes in this release include an updated list of Wine versions, updated libraries and drivers in the container, a fixed installation script, and added support for Steam (native) running in the container along with the Steam-SW launch icon.
