The developers of the AlmaLinux project have recently announced the addition of AlmaLinux Kitten 10 support for the RISC-V architecture (RV64GC). This edition is based on the CentOS Stream 10 package base and follows a continuous package update model. It serves as an upstream for the AlmaLinux 10 branch.
AlmaLinux Kitten 10 builds for RISC-V are now available in the form of an official docker image and standard images of virtual machines. Moving forward, the developers have plans to release system images for the StarFive VisionFive 2 (JH7110) and SiFive HiFive Premier P550 (ESWIN EIC7700) boards.
