Google Pays $17.1M for 2024 Vulnerability Rewards

Google recently released the findings of its bounty program, which aims to uncover vulnerabilities in a variety of platforms including Chrome, Android, Google Play applications, Google products, and open source software. In 2025, a total of $17.1 million was distributed as compensation to researchers who participated in the program. This marked a significant increase from the $11.8 million paid out in 2024 and $10 million in 2023. A total of 747 researchers were rewarded for their efforts in 2025, compared to 660 in 2024 and 632 in 2023. Since the program’s inception in 2010, Google has paid out a total of $81.6 million in rewards.
