This initiative follows the establishment of a similar repository for deb packages catering to Debian and Ubuntu users back in 2023.
By leveraging an rpm repository, users can benefit from the standard distribution capabilities for seamless installation and updates of packages. These packages are built with additional optimizations and security-enhancing flags, with the build publishing process seamlessly integrated into the core Firefox release mechanism. Notably, a .desktop file is provided to facilitate the creation of shortcuts on desktops and in the distribution menu.
