NVIDIA Tests Linux Client for GeForce NOW Gaming

NVIDIA has recently launched beta testing for an application designed for the Linux platform. This application allows users to connect to the cloud service GeForce NOW, enabling them to play games on NVIDIA servers with the output streamed to their own systems. By utilizing this application, users can access a virtual gaming computer equipped with an NVIDIA RTX 5080 graphics card. This virtual system supports resolutions of up to 5K and frame rates of 120 FPS, or 1080p with 360 FPS.

The application, available for download here, is compatible with Ubuntu 24.04 and newer versions. The program’s capabilities and interface closely resemble the versions of GeForce NOW applications available for Windows and macOS.
