MyCompany 6.1 Launches: Open Platform for Small Biz

The latest release of MyCompany 6.1, a free ERP system designed for small and medium-sized businesses and built on the lsFusion platform, has been announced. This comprehensive solution addresses various business needs including warehouse and financial accounting, purchasing and sales management, production, retail trade, and services. MyCompany is distributed under the Apache 2.0 license and is developed as an open source project on GitHub.

Version 6.1 of MyCompany puts a strong focus on enhancing the production and time accounting unit, improving document and tax management, and expanding integrations and APIs.

Key updates in this release include the ability to generate invoices based on shipments, support for multiple shipments on one invoice, enhanced filters and features in the sales and settlements module, and expanded capabilities in production accounting such as cost reports and labor tracking in production orders.

The time tracking interface now includes employee time sheets, task assignment in manager’s time sheets, and the option to assign tasks and projects to teams. In CRM, partner card features have been enhanced with added contact information, attributes, and the ability to add and delete orders directly from the partner form.

Other improvements in MyCompany 6.1 include the addition of cost and markup indicators in the sales orders report, support for special taxes in certain transactions, integration with Mango Office IP telephony and the Wazzup service, and implementation of the CryptoPro Browser Plugin for electronic signature management in the browser.
