- Global Internet traffic increased by 19% in 2025, with the most significant traffic growth beginning in August. For comparison, traffic growth in 2024 was 17.2%.
- Share of web browsers:
- General statistics: Chrome – 66.2%, Safari – 15.4%, Edge – 7.4%,
Firefox – 3.7%, Samsung Internet – 2.3%. - In the Russian Federation, the share of Chrome is 44%, and Yandex Browser – 33%.
- Desktops: Chrome – 67.9%, Edge – 14.4%, Firefox – 6.7%, Safari –
6.2%, Opera – 2.2%. - Mobile devices: Chrome – 64.4%, Safari – 24.6%, Samsung Internet – 4.7%, QQ Browser – 0.7%.

- 71% of traffic is IPv4, and 29% is IPv6. In 2024, the share of IPv6 was 28%. In the Russian Federation, the share of IPv6 is estimated at 8.6%, in India – 67%, in France – 50%.
- 57% of requests are sent from desktop systems, and 43% from mobile devices. In 2024, the share of mobile devices was 41%.
- The share of iOS in traffic from mobile devices increased from 33 to 35% over the year. The share of Android decreased from 67 to 65%.
- Based on the analysis of calls to the DNS server 1.1.1.1 calculated ratings:
- Top10 most popular Internet services: Google, Facebook, Apple, Microsoft, Instagram, AWS, YouTube, TikTok, Amazon, WhatsApp. Compared to 2024, Microsoft, Instagram and YouTube services rose by one position, Amazon Web Services (AWS) fell by one position, and TikTok fell by 4 positions.
- Top10 AI services: OpenAI ChatGPT, Anthropic Claude, Perplexity, Google Gemini, Character.AI, GitHub Copilot, Windsurf AI, QuillBot, xAI Grok, DeepSeek. Compared to 2024, Perplexity, Claude/Anthropic, and GitHub Copilot rose in the rankings. Google Gemini, Windsurf AI, Grok/xAI and DeepSeek were included in the rating.
- Top10 social networks: Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, LinkedIn, X / Twitter, Kwai, Discord, Pinterest, Reddit. Compared to 2024, Instagram, Snapchat, Linkedin and Kwai rose in the rankings. The positions of TikTok, X / Twitter and Discord have worsened.
- Top10 instant messengers: WhatsApp, QQ, Telegram, Viber, Signal, WeChat, LINE, Messenger, Zalo.me, KakaoTalk. Compared to 2024, Signal, Messenger, Zalo.me and KakaoTalk rose in the rankings. The rating of WeChat has decreased.
- Top10 gaming platforms: Roblox, PlayStation, Xbox / Xbox Live, Epic Games / Fortnite, Steam, Electronic Arts, Blizzard, Minecraft, Riot Games / League of Legends, Nintendo.
- Share of search engines: Google – 89.5%, Bing – 3.1%, Yandex –
