Pwn2Own Hacks Smartphones, NAS, Printers, Smart Homes

The results of the Pwn2Own competition Ireland 2025 have been summarized after three days of intense hacking. A total of 46 successful attacks were demonstrated, utilizing 73 previously unknown vulnerabilities (0-day) found in various devices such as smartphones, routers, smart home devices, printers, network storage, and video surveillance systems. All attacks were conducted using the latest firmware and operating systems, along with all available updates, in the default configuration.

The total amount of rewards paid out during the competition exceeded one million US dollars ($1,024,750). The Summoning Team emerged as the most successful participants, earning a total of 187 thousand US dollars. The second-place winners, ANHTUD, received $76 thousand, while the third-place winners, Synacktiv, took home $90 thousand.


The attacks conducted during the competition showcased the expertise and skills of the participating teams. The event served as a platform to identify and address critical vulnerabilities in a range of devices, contributing to improved cybersecurity practices in the industry.
