Nate Graham, QA Developer for the KDE Project, posted another KDE development report. The most notable changes being developed for the release of KDE Plasma 6.6, scheduled for February 12:
- The ability to change the volume level of a task using the mouse wheel has been added to the panel on the application icon.
- Implemented the ability for the application to pass the “position” property when initiating provision screen sharing to improve work in multi-monitor configurations.
- Clock widget translated to use the library “libclock”, which made it possible to get rid of problems with time zones and increase the efficiency of working with the timer.
- In the application menu (Kickoff) implemented visual separation of adjacent selected categories.
- In the search interface when entering a query “winver”, familiar to Windows users, is provided displaying a page with system information.
- Implemented display of the site icon when controlling the playback of multimedia content in the browser via the Media Player widget, when it was not possible to get a picture with the album cover.
- In the configurator on the settings page screen unified size of all sliders.
- Changed animation of switching sections in windows.
