In nightly builds of Firefox, on the basis of which the Firefox 146 release will be formed on December 9, testing of the “ href=”https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1980370″>Split View” to view two tabs side by side in one window. The mode is activated through the “browser.tabs.splitView.enabled” parameter on the about:config page, after which the “Add Split View” item will appear in the context menu shown when right-clicking on the tabs.
When you click this option for an individual tab the contents of the window are divided into two parts and the contents of the new tab page open on the right side. If you select the option for a group of two tabs, the specified tabs will immediately open next to each other. In the “Split View” mode, you can arbitrarily change the size of the right and left viewing areas by dragging the separator bar with the mouse. The active tab when viewed simultaneously is highlighted with a red frame.
