Nate Graham, a developer engaged in quality control in the KDE project, published the latest report on the development of KDE. The most significant changes in the KDE Plasma 6.5 branch, set to release on October 21:
- In color correction filters, a regime output in shades of gray and the possibility of reducing the saturation of all colors have been added. You can view the changes here.
- In the wallpaper configuration, when configuring the wallpaper, desktop slideshow images can now be chosen by clicking on the image via a small button in the corner. View more details here.
- The maximum size of the Show Activity Manager widget has been limited to improve the look when exposing a large panel width. See the changes here.

Changes implemented for KDE Plasma 6.6 branches:
- Improved use of Wayland Protocol xdg-activation to switch the input focus between Applications. Learn more here.
