WineHQ has recently published the experimental issue of the open implementation of Win32 API – Wine 10.10. Since the release of version 10.9, 38 errors have been closed and 234 amendments have been made.

The key changes in this latest version include:

  • Engine Wine Mono has been updated to version 10.1.0, which is a distribution of Framework Mono designed for use in Wine in place of the proprietary component .NET Framework.
  • Dependence on the Library of Osmesa (Off-Screen Mesa) has been implemented.
  • Generation support for metadata Windows Runtime (Winrt) in implementing the language description language Widl (Wine Interface Definition Language).
  • Localization data has been updated to unicode cladr 47 (unicode common locale data repository).
  • Support for the format p010 has been added to the implementation of the Framwar Media Foundation.
  • Updates to Faudio 06.25, MPG123 1.33.0, LibPNG 1.6.48, and XSLT 1.1.43.
  • Various errors related to applications and games like Lotus Freelance Graphics 2.1, Rise of Nations: Thrones and Patriots, Braid, and more have been closed.

In addition, the release of DXVK 2.6.2 has been noted, providing the implementation of DXGI (DirectX Graphics Infrastructure), Direct3D 8, 9, 10, and 11 through calls to the Vulkan API. DXVK requires drivers with support for Vulkan 1.3 to operate and can be used to launch 3D applications and games in Linux using Wine, offering a high-performance alternative to Direct3D built-in Wine operating on top of Opengl.

Notable features in the new version of DXVK include:

  • Added environment variable dxvk_filter_device_uuid to differentiate devices based on UUID on systems with multiple identical GPU models.
  • Added
/Reports, release notes, official announcements.
