Ubuntu Sway Remix 25.04 is built on Sway, a composite manager utilizing the Wayland Protocol and the I3 mosaic window manager. It includes the PCManfm-GTK3 file manager and utilities from the nwg-shell project, such as desktop wallpaper manager azote, full-screen application menu nwg-drawer, script output program nwg-wrapper, GTK theme, cursor, and font manager nwg-look, and the script autotiling for dynamic window management.
The distribution also includes graphical programs like Firefox, Qutebrowser, Audacious, Transmission, Libreoffice, Pluma, and Mate Calc, as well as console applications including Musikcube, MPV, Swayimg, Zathura, Neovim, and Ranger.
