Codeweavers recently announced the release of Crossover 25.1, a package based on the Wine code that is designed to run programs and games written for the Windows platform. Codeweavers is a key participant in the Wine project, sponsoring its development and contributing all innovations back to the project for the benefit of the community. The new version of Crossover 25.1 includes several updates and improvements, such as:
- Fixes for problems with Launcher-Electronic Arts (EA) and Ubisoft, with increased compatibility for Xbox and 8Bitdo Pro controllers.
- An updated database of compatibility settings for games.
- Solutions for Steam game issues with MSync, as well as fixes for Steam integration problems.
- Resolved problems when connecting to Outlook accounts in Office 365.
- Increased stability for MS Office 2016 in Linux.
