CANONICAL RELEASES REAL-TIME UBUNTU 24.04

Canonical has recently announced the release of Real-Time Ubuntu 24.04, specially designed for real-time task execution. This version of Ubuntu incorporates the Linux 6.8 core with rt patches to reduce delays and ensure predictable processing times. In addition to these enhancements, optimizations have been made for Raspberry Pi 4 and 5 boards, as well as Intel Core processors that support TCC (Time Coordinated Computing).

The Real-Time Ubuntu 24.04 is now available for X86_64 and AARCH64 architectures and is distributed through the Ubuntu Pro service, which is ideal for commercial applications. However, for personal use, individuals can connect up to 5 devices for free (50 devices for Ubuntu Community members). This release aims to improve performance and reduce delays for users requiring real-time capabilities in their computing tasks.
