Moral harassment at France Telecom: lightened pain on appeal for ex-CEO Didier Lombard

The ex-CEO of France Telecom Didier Lombard saw his lightened sentence, Friday, September 30. The Paris Court of Appeal sentenced him for institutional moral harassment to one year in prison with totality of the stay, against four months in prison in first instance.

m. Lombard, now 80 years old, was inflicted the same fine in the amount of 15,000 euros as that pronounced at first instance, in 2019. His number two at the time of the facts (2007-2008) , Louis-Pierre Wenès, is also sentenced on appeal to one year in prison with suspended and 15,000 euros fine, twelve years after the facts marked by a wave of suicides of employees of the group.
