Afghanistan: an attack in an educational center in Kabul made several victims among students

At least 19 people were killed in a suicide bombing Friday morning in the Kaaj educational center, welcoming students, announced a police spokesperson.

An explosion took place on Friday morning September 30, at the Kaaj educational center, west of Kabul. “The students were preparing for an exam when a suicide bomber blew himself up in this educational center. Unfortunately, 19 people died and 27 others were injured,” said Khalid Zadran, police spokesperson.

The security teams are on site, the nature of the attack and the details on the victims will be communicated later.

“Attacking civilian targets proves the inhuman cruelty of the enemy and its absence of moral standards,” added Abdul Nafy Takor, spokesperson for the Interior Ministry. Videos posted on social media and photos published by local media show bloody victims transported from the places of the explosion.

On April 20, at least six people had been killed and 24 injured in two explosions having struck a school for boys in this same district of the west of the capital.
