Redcore Linux 2201

A year later, since the last release of published the distribution of the distribution redcore Linux 2201 , which is trying to combine the functionality of Gentoo with convenience for ordinary users. The distribution provides a simple installer that allows you to quickly deploy the working system, without requiring the reassurance of components from the original texts. Users are provided with a repository with ready-made binary packages, accompanied by a continuous cycle of updates (Rolling model). To control the packages, Sisyphus’s own package manager is involved. For installation it is proposed ISO -MACE with the KDE desktop, size 4.2 GB (x86_64).

  • As a planner of input/output for SSD drives with the SATA and NVME interface, MQ-DeADADADLINE is involved, and BFQ planner for SATAs.
  • To increase the performance of multi -flow games, it is possible to use the Eventfd Synchronization mechanism
