The Créteil judicial court calls into question the conditions of validation of the agreement which led the Socialist Party, more than ever divided, to participate in the left alliance.

A few hours before the election, the new economic and social popular union (Nuts) knows no legal respite. Tuesday, June 7, the Council of State agreed to him against the Ministry of the Interior, considering it “as a single political nuance” for the two rounds of the legislative elections (June 12 and 19). On the other hand, on the same day, the court of Créteil, seized in summary proceedings, called into question the process which led the Socialist Party (PS) to join the Nuts. It is four socialist activists, without responsibilities within the party, seized justice.
According to the judgment, the management of the PS should have organized a national convention, including the activists, and not be satisfied with a vote of the National Council, the “Parliament” of the PS, on May 6, to endure – at 62 % of votes – This agreement made between the PS, La France Insoumise (LFI), the Communist Party (PC) and Europe Ecology -les Verts (EELV). The judge has enjoined the PS to organize a national agreement within one month, under penalty of a financial penalty of 500 euros per day.
The PS decided to appeal the decision and reacted under the pen of Corinne Narassiguin, number two of the party, which addressed the first federals: “At the time when the gathering of the left and the Ecology is experiencing a real political dynamic, certain members of our party wanted to play the game of the presidential majority and thus reveal their true intentions by attacking the Nuts. (…) Such a national convention could not have been organized in the Deadlines given before the deadline for submitting applications on May 20. This is not disputed by the applicants, thus demonstrating their sole desire to harm a political dynamic. “

Corinne Narassiguin also notes “that the judge in summary proceedings did not cancel the agreement which links the PS to the Nut. (…) The political agreement which unites LFI, EELV, the PCF and the PS is more alive than ever “.
