Metz will have a new European chance. Three years after a first frustrating experience concluded in fourth place, the Handballs of Metz will find early June Budapest and the Fourte Four of the Champions League, where they will be in the position of the outsider. In the Champions League dam, the Messins have enforced the logic against Borussia Dortmund, Saturday, April 2 (32-19).

After its wide success in the game go to Germany (30-22), Metz had margin and could even afford to lose when returning. But Captain Meline Nocandy and his teammates have done much better than that in front of their audience, and have again imposed, with a gap more importantly.

The situation will allow Messins to arrive more rested than their competitors, who will only have to focus on the end of the championship (seven regular season games, as well as the probable final on a round trip ) and the half of France.

In 2019, Metz was the first and only representative of the Championship of France qualified for the Four Four. Two years later, and after a 2020 edition canceled while Metz and Brest had their ticket for Budapest, Brest had hoisted in the final last year, beaten by Kristiansand after getting GyΓΆr in half.

To join Metz, Brest must first overthrow the Danish Team of Odense Sunday (defeat to go 25 to 24), then will be forced to the feat against GyΓΆr in the quarterfinals.
