The story will remember that in the thirty-eighth day of war on Saturday, April 2, Ukraine proclaimed the “release” of the kyiv region. Russia had announced a few days earlier that it stopped its offensive against the Ukrainian capital, believing against evidence that “the main objectives of the transaction were reached” (on 25 March) and stating that its forces would “drastically Reduce “their operations around kyiv to focus on” Liberation of Donbass “in eastern country (March 29). The fallback movement towards the territory of Belarus, Allied by Moscow, has been a blazing speed. In a few days, the Russian army disappeared.
The capital, certainly subjected to aerial bombardments and artillery fire in its suburbs but relatively spared compared to other cities in Ukraine, becomes conscious of the extent of the violence that is unleashed at its doors, on the front lines and in the villages occupied by the Russian forces.
The first carnage discovered in the territories abandoned by the Russian army took place between the villages of Myla and Mriia, on the road that connects kyiv to Zhytomyr. This strategic highway, the E40, west of the capital, was occupied for weeks but, the first days after the arrival of the Russian forces, everyone was not necessarily informed and the Ukrainian forces n ‘had not yet installed checkpoints on all paths to prohibit access. This is how civilians have fallen into ambush facing tanks and Russian troops who do not hesitate to fire on the least car that passed by there.

The killing covers nearly one kilometer. A few bodies, curled up after being the prey of the flames, rest in cars which, after having been stopped by shots, were likely to be burned. Most corpses looked next to the automobiles. They are all partially burned either fully calcined, which can not be the result, so systematically, tires of tanks and machine guns. The fire was put there later.
