Rebellious France and environmentalists are taking an agreement for legislative elections

The Federal Council of EELV voted largely, Sunday evening, the text concluded with LFI. The two teams hope to pave the way for other unions, with the PCF and the PS.

Fluid then difficult, then blocked and then accelerated again, discussions for the legislative elections between rebellious France and environmentalists ended up. Sunday 1st-May, a symbol, after a Parisian parade conducive to symbolic reconciliations, the Federal Council of Europe Ecology-Les Verts (EELV) ratified a text of agreement, relating to a hundred constituencies for the candidates of the ecologist pole. Between environmental deputies and rebellious we will now have to talk about the “new Popular Ecologist and Social Union”.

One day nothing is going well, the next day everything arranges, it is the case with negotiations on the left for the legislative elections. This Sunday, May 1st returned to the good day category, the best probably since the opening ten days ago of the discussions. The Parisian parade offered a number of favorable images, a handshake between Olivier Faure and Jean-Luc Mélenchon, but also communist emissaries rising on the rebellious chariot to shake hands with everyone, and again Sandrine Rousseau and Jean- Luc Mélenchon meeting fortuitously in a cafe, and conversing ways and means of the imminent agreement. Again on Thursday, the “rebellious” seemed exasperated from what they perceived as reversals from an ecological family quick to debate the slightest paragraph. On Friday, Julien Bayou suddenly says he is optimistic, “the agreement is in sight”.
