Telecommunications: Orange shrinks its network of shops

The operator closed dozens of stores in one year, including, recently, his flagship of the Champs-Elysées. A movement that is part of a group’s reflection on the perimeter of its distribution network.

For a few days, passers-by can no longer buy either phone or accessory in the Orange Champs-Elysées store in Paris. The point of sale is definitely closed. Presented as the group’s new generation store during its inauguration, in September 2015, by the former CEO Stéphane Richard, this “smart store” (supposed to offer an improvement in the customer experience) did not resist the drop in attendance caused by the crisis linked to the COVVI-19.
