The placement under electronic bracelet of the former Mayor LR of Levalois-Perret (Hauts-de-Seine) and his wife will be revoked after several failings, paving the way for their incarceration, has decided the Court of Appeal of Rouen, Thursday, February 3rd.
This decision followed a hundred “incidents” that sounded their bracelets at the Cossy mill, their residence of Giverny (Eure) where they are assigned at residence under electronic supervision since March 2021.
According to Knowledge of Patrick Balkany interviewed by AFP, the former mayor has been seen several times in recent weeks in Levallois-Perret, including the market and the city’s basketball club.
Patrick Balkany, 73, has already been incarcerated on September 13, 2019 after being sentenced for “massive tax evasion” to four years in prison.
