Release MESSOR, decentralized intrusion detection system

After two years of development, the first release of the design of the Messor project, developing free, independent and decentralized software security and transparent data acquisition and scanning data collection. Project Developers launched the messor.network and published plugin For e-commerce platform OpenCart3 . The plugin code is written in PHP and extends under the APACHE 2.0 license. The development contains a module for NGINX / Apache2 (C ++), plugin for Magento (PHP) and plugin for Wordress (PHP).

project Provides Bundles from IPS, Honeypot and a hybrid P2P client, Realizing Scan protection, regardless of destination, whether it is possible to operate vulnerabilities, bots, search engines or other applications. The main difference between Messor from other IPS is its own network structure. Related sites form a single P2P network MESSOR-NETWORK, each participant of which collects data on intruders, sends information to other network members and receives daily database updates. For each Member Wessor’s network, the duties of distributing the actual database to other network participants and send to the central networks of the network of attacked data on the central network servers.

Database Contains:

  • List of IP addresses that the network recognized dangerous, it means that in recent times they were repeatedly recorded attacks;
  • Lists of IP addresses of various bots;
  • Regular expressions for detecting attacks by UseRAGENT / GET / POST / COOKI;
  • Regular expressions to identify bots;
  • List of traps (Honeypot) to determine scanning.
