So, from January 1, the daily number of deaths among patients with Covid grew on average from 1142 to 1350. This indicator was the highest since October 2021. The number of cases recorded per day with coronavirus infection since the beginning of this year increased by 48.11 percent, from 414.9 thousand to 614.5 thousand.
In total in the United States, according to the University of Jones Hopkins, the number of infected has already reached 59.4 million, 836 thousand people died. The United States continues to take first place in the world on these two indicators.
