The head of state noted, the authorities of the republic turned to the CSTO legally substantiated, while the National Security Committee (CNB) “did not see the threat” and could not prevent the attacks on the country. “I could not and wanted to give a clear estimate of this subversive work, did not see the critical threat of national security,” Tokaev said.

Protests in Kazakhstan began on Sunday, January 2, due to the rapid increase in gas engine fuel prices.
