In every fourth region, Russia recorded a budget deficit

Every fourth Russian region is experiencing a budget deficit, stated in the Ministry of Finance of Russia. This is written “Izvestia”.

“In general, the consolidated budgets of the regions are executed with a surplus of 640 billion rubles. The deficit is recorded in 21 subjects and amounts to a total of 175 billion rubles,” said the department.

Also in the Ministry of Finance stated that income for 2021 compared to 2020 increased by 18 percent, up to 17.5 trillion rubles. 84 region also increased tax and non-tax revenues by 26 percent to 13.6 trillion rubles. Such a speaker provided an increase in expenditures by 8 percent, noted in the Ministry of Finance.

As stated in an analytical credit rating agency (acre), 30 percent or 26 unconsolidated budgets of the regions were shortage. In total, increasing income expenses reached 251.8 billion rubles. 60 percent of this amount had to Moscow, the budget of which amounted to 147 billion rubles. In second place, the KHMAO turned out to be at this indicator, and on the third – Bashkortostan.

At the same time, the greatest increase was at the Krasnodar Territory, St. Petersburg and the Chelyabinsk region. Also in the plus turned out to be Lipetsk, Kemerovo, Belgorod, Vologda region and Krasnoyarsk region.

Earlier, Finance Minister Anton Siluanov said that the peak of inflation in Russia was already passed, in 2022 the country will be able to solve problems. From 2022, he said, the budget policy is given in accordance with the “normal levels”.
