Police blocked some streets in Almaty due to the anti-terrorist operation. On Wednesday, January 19, Tengrinews reports.

“We ask citizens with understanding to take temporary measures, to adjust the route of movement in advance and strictly observe traffic rules,” said the press service of the city police department.

On the eve of the Al-Ata authorities, they reported that with the beginning of the anti-terrorist operation in the city, more than 2.7 thousand people were detained. 131 units of firearms and 4179 ammunition are seized. During the mass riots in Almaty, 160 people were killed, of which 11 people were law enforcement officers.
