Kazakhstan: removed head of state bank

The head of the Bank of Development of Kazakhstan (BRK) Abay Sarkulov was ahead of schedule. This is reported by the press service of the State Bank.

It is noted that Sarkulov was removed from the post of Chairman of the Board and a member of the Board of Directors of the BRC by the decision of the only shareholder of NUH “Baiterek” JSC.

Acting Chapter of the Bank was appointed former Deputy Chairman of the Board Sandugash Kainzhebayev.

Earlier, the President of Kazakhstan Kasym-Zhomart Tokayev instructed the government to completely rebuild the work of the BRC. At the same time, he pointed out that at present the structure performs the function “Personal Bank for the Selected Circle of Persons.”
