In Russia, the preparation of the oceanographic research vessel (OIC) “Eugene Goriglylagan” began to enter the running test. The ship of the project 02670 is built for the Ministry of Defense of Russia. The press service reported that on January 25, the research vessel “Yevgeny Gorigledge” made a transition from the water area of the Yantar plant to Baltiysk.
The crew of the ship and the staff of the plant prepare OIS to the beginning of the factory running tests. During the work, the ship will make several exits in the sea. There is also a check of all systems and OR mechanisms. After that, the ship will pass to the customer.
At the base of the ship “Eugene Gorigledge” lies a modernized rescue towing ship MB-305. Work on the ship began in 2016, and in the 2020 oR, it was lowered into water. The ship is intended for environmental monitoring, underwater and oceanographic shooting of the bottom.
Earlier in the press service of the Northern Fleet reported the beginning of the exercises in the Barents Sea. In maneuvers, about 30 warships, submarines and security ships are involved.
