By the end of the year, the Baltic Fleet of the Navy (Navy) of Russia will enter a new ship with Caliber’s wicked rockets. The connection will strengthen the small rocket ship (MRK) “Naro-Fominsk” of the project 21631 “Buyan-M”. This is reported to “Izvestia” with reference to sources in the military department.
Sources noted that the decision to adopt the IRK “Naro-Fominsk” to the Baltic Fleet was already accepted. For the ship prepared infrastructure based on the Baltiysk and formed the crew. “Naro-Fominsk”, which is located on shipyard in Zelenodolsk, can convey the fleet in the fall.
The ship of the project “Buyan-M” received the installation of a vertical start on eight winged rockets. The IRK can carry anti-worker missiles of P-800 “Onyx” and Caliber Winged Rockets. Also for projects of projects “Karakurt” and “Buyan-M” are developing a lightweight version of the hypersonic missile “Zircon”.
Earlier, the Polish edition of Defence24 told about the defenselessness of the IRK project “Buyan-M”. The carriers of “calibers” do not have an effective air defense system, which makes them defenseless before the impacts of the likely opponent.
In December, it became known that the Russian Fregat “Admiral Chabanenko” will be able to carry 32 rockets “Calibr”, “Onyx” or “Zircon” in two launchers. Also, the ship will receive anti-aircraft complexes “Poles-M”.
In October, The National Interest magazine estimated the arms of the Russian ICC project “Karakurt”. In publications, it is noted that the universal ship’s rifle complex of the IRC will be able to carry hypersonic missiles.
