State Duma deputies in the third, final reading approved amendment on increased indexation of pensions in the amount of 8.6 percent, which is above the actual inflation in the results of 2021, RIA Novosti reports.
The action of the law will have inverse, that is, an increased pension will be paid from January 1. The average pension after indexing will be 18,984 rubles.
The Federation Council will consider amendments to raise pensions at a meeting on January 26th. The corresponding document is included in the agenda of the upper house of parliament.
